Vafurlogi | Gneisti Af Eldi Guðs | 6.67 When I first heard extract of this album in a YouTube top video, and saw the album cover, I thought of Vukari’s latest album. Unfortunately this one didn’t manage to take me to similar heights. It is very well produced, has good melodies, but it sounds a bit monolithic and lacks clear memorable moments for me. 
Sojourner | Gateways | 6.8 I had much higher hopes for this I have to say, especially since I heard the very first single. In the end I felt mostly let down by the production, which didn't seem big and clean enough. It was nice hearing Heike in this context though, and I think it fits her emotionality perfectly, even more than Death/Doom imo, so I hope she continues that way, either with an improved Sojourner album or another band in the future.
